Traditional dental impressions are taken with a putty-like material and can be uncomfortable for the patient. We are excited to announce that they are a thing of the past in our offices!
The CEREC Primescan uses a wand-like device that captures 50,000 images of your mouth per second. These images are compiled into a 3D image of your teeth, gums, mouth and jaw and displayed on a high definition computer screen for review. They are then sent directly to our lab to fabricate crowns, bridges, implants, retainers and night guards.
